Kiana and Lee: A Love Story Amidst the Pandemic
Their story
In the midst of a world facing a pandemic, Kiana and Lee found each other and their soulmates. Meeting in 2020, they were instantly drawn to each other’s kindness and sense of humor. Unable to stay away from one another, they soon found themselves living together and planning their future.
Their love story took a memorable turn in July 2021 during a rigorous hike in Banff, Alberta. At Lake Agnes, 4 kilometers away from Lake Louise, Lee got down on one knee, and Kiana joyfully said yes
Their big day
The couple chose the beautiful Salon Richmond in Griffintown, Montreal, as the venue for their wedding. Built in 1861 by the Sulpicians, with the help of local volunteers, Saint Joseph’s Church was a gathering place, a place of celebration, and support for the Little Burgundy community. They welcomed 150 close friends and family from as far as Chile and Alberta to celebrate their union.
Their wedding day was beautiful, hot, and sunny. Kiana and Lee decided to share a private moment before the ceremony, revisiting the location of their first date for a magical first look. Their wedding party joined them for a fun photo session, adding to the joyful atmosphere of the day.
The wedding ceremony itself was breathtaking, Kiana and Lee’s love and vows moving their guests. After a short break and an hour of cocktails for their guests, the dinner reception began with an incredible entrance from the wedding party. Laughter and unforgettable moments filled the reception, creating memories that will last a lifetime for Kiana, Lee, and their families.
